An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
